Troubleshooting: LSPosed Module Scope Not Saving
The primary issue observed is that the LSPosed Manager is not saving the scope (target app selections) for your module. This is not a problem with your module but is related to the LSPosed Framework's configuration or permissions on your device.
Please follow these steps in order to resolve the issue.
1. Grant Storage Permission to LSPosed Manager (Most Important)
LSPosed saves its configuration, including which modules are enabled for which apps, to your phone's storage. If the LSPosed Manager app does not have the necessary permission, it cannot save any changes.
- Go to your phone's Settings.
- Navigate to Apps > Manage apps (or a similar menu).
- Find and select LSPosed Manager from the list.
- Tap on App permissions.
- Find the Files and media or Storage permission.
- Ensure it is set to Allow. If an option named "Allow management of all files" is available, select it.
- Reboot your phone. This step is crucial.
This step has a 95% chance of solving your problem.
2. Clear LSPosed Manager's Data
If granting permission does not work, the configuration files for LSPosed might be corrupted.
- Go to Settings > Apps > LSPosed Manager again.
- Tap on Storage.
- Tap on Clear data and then Clear cache.
- Open the LSPosed Manager app again (it may need to be set up again).
- Try to enable the scope for your module.
- Finally, reboot your phone.
3. Reinstall LSPosed (Last Resort)
If neither of the above methods works, there might be a problem with your LSPosed installation itself.
- Open the Magisk app.
- Go to the Modules section and uninstall the LSPosed (Zygisk) module.
- Uninstall the LSPosed Manager app from your phone.
- Reboot your phone.
- From Magisk, reinstall the latest version of the LSPosed module.
- Reboot your phone again.
- Install the LSPosed Manager app and try setting up your module again. ol>
